David Clifford was first introduced to me in 2007. I had purchased a large steeply terraced plot with a ruin and all the land was heavily overgrown. The beautiful oak, olive, fruit and nut trees were either diseased or in need of a great deal of care.

David set about providing a plan to firstly reduce the density of the cover of the land to reveal its form and contours so that the trees could be seen in a better light and then decide what trees could be salvaged and pruned and those, by positioning should be removed to allow the healthier trees to rejuvenate and provide good crop again.

I was very impressed with his knowledge of the ground cover and native plants that abound on the property and their importance to the birds, insects and butterflies that proliferate the area.

I have since purchased two further plots of land and have engaged David to provide a further plan for the initial restoration of the trees and land and an ongoing maintenance program for the annual pruning and strimming required to benefit from such beautiful properties and their bounty.

David's devotion to the land and flora has inspired me to pay greater attention to my properties and the beauty they provide to my guests and holiday makers. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending his services.

To those of you who are considering having your garden or land cleared and/or maintained, whilst either out of the country or just soaking up the sun, then you do not have to look any further than a company called Em Casa Com a Naturea. You may have viewed the task of finding someone reliable and honest with trepidation, I know we did, but up to then we had not found David.

When my husband and I originally arrived in Portugal and stared, wide-eyed and full of dread at our overgrown acreage, it seemed to be a daunting task. However, luckily we were introduced to David. What a godsend! He arrived and cleaned up our property. He removed rubbish (and there was plenty of that) cut and trimmed trees and finally found the earth under layers of weeds and 'elephant' grass!

He even worked enthusiastically through some exceedingly hot days when everything else was wilting. Moreover, when he had finished, my, what a difference, we could finally see what lovely ground we had and it was all neat and tidy.

So, I can say with hand on heart that if you want a really professional job executed in a friendly helpful way then give David a call, you will not be disappointed.

Just recently, he expertly restored a 10 meter tall cypress hedge into a manageable 2 meter height - all work surpassed expectations and the site is always left clean and tidy.
